How Do You Think The Watchtower IT Department Is Responding To The Anonymous Threat?

so anonymous has declared its intentions to utterly destroy the watchtower society.

this will likely include attacking the official websites and trying to obtain the database of 23,000+ pedophiles in the organization.. i have never served at bethel so i would appreciate the input of those who have.

do you think they are taking this threat seriously?.

What are the odds that there is someone in Bethel with a conscience that wants to get the list out but is afraid to because they will lose their livelyhood and all of their friends and family? I would say they are probably at least 50 -50 especially since this deals with pedophiles. Since Anonymous has clearly warned the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society that they are going to hack the list, this is a PRIME opportunity for ANYONE at BETHEL that can help to do so.

If you are in Bethel and you care about God's children who are at risk of being molested, please help. Post anything you can that may help a hacker get access, names of the persons that might have those passwords, IP addresses, email addresses, or any password that accesses the WT mainframe would be a HUGE help. You don't have to give your name and the Anonymous group will take all the blame. If you really care but just don't want to lose all your family and friends now is the time to help.

Pray about it.

Ray Franz book's available in audio format! Crisis of Consciencs / Christian Freedom

everybody may already know this but i just happened to discover that crisis of conscience and in search of christian freedom are now available as audio books.

they are not legal copies as commentary press did not make a audio version, however someone took the time to read every page of both books into a good mike.

the sound quality is good and they are organized well for a iphone or ipod.

These books changed my life. For those who have not read them here is a very very short review.

Crisis of Consceince: Here Ray tells the inside story of the GB. I think it would be very very hard for someone to read this book and remain a witness. I read it an I knew that was the end of the org for me. The problem is then I was so pissed off that I almost gave up on God entirely. (I know, for many of you that is not a problem, but for me personally it was) I did not want to go to another religion and I did not know what to think. In search of Christian Freedom was for me a book that provided healing. I reccomend both of them.

As far as downloading from Pirate Bay you need to have a bit torrent reader. I am on a Mac computer and I use one called Transmission. Works great.

I think the WTBS better have some pretty good firewalls on their computers. Not only them, but any attorney that has ever been on record as working with the WTBS better have their stuff secure as well. It seems that this group (Anonymous) has already done some quite a bit of damage to scientology. They have also gone after Monsanto and Bank of America.

If the WTBS does have this pedo list on a computer and that computer has access to the internet they might want to reconsider that altogether. A group of hackers that are as dedicated as these people seem to be are not to be taken lightly.

will we ever see another governing body member leave the organization like ray franz did and speak out against them?.

one can only imagine the kind of dirt that's been concealed behind those gb sessions since the 1980's.. what are your thoughts?.

I hope so. That would be fantastic. The thing is though that Ray Franz was a person with real integrity. Once he started the deeper research for the AID book and started to realize TATT then it was inevitable that he would be ejected. It is really too bad that no one on the GB has the personal strength to stand up and do as Ray did. Ray's books have changed my life and that of many others as well. If one of the GB today would do what Ray did only with the reach of the internet and all the media we have today it would be known by a lot more witnesses. I really do hate a lot of things about the ORG but, there are a lot of people stuck in there either being held by family or simply out of ignoranc of the truth. I would love if someone would stand up and do the right thing.

The problem is if you are with the org long enough to get into a position of authority then every single one of your friends is a witness. For someone to come forward like Ray did would mean losing every friend they know, losing their livelyhood, being gossiped about and compared to Satan.

It is a lose - lose for a GB member . . . . unless they really care about God and what he thinks of them. Not likely.

do you own a 4wd vehicle?

if so, and it's the type that requires you to switch to 4wd, how often do you use that capability?

i know more than a few people with 4wd capability but never use it.

a couple of these folks don't even know what it's for.

For years and years I always had a 4x4 of one sort or another. Jeeps, Toyotas, FX4, etc. I mostly had them because I really love surf fishing. However all the enviromenalists have made it practically impossible to drive on the beach at Cape Hatteras any longer. I finally have moved to all 2WD vehicles for the first time in years and it really does not bother me at all. Better fuel mileage is a nice bonus as well. The only reason I would reccomend a 4x4 is if you are beach driving, in the snow a lot, or really will use it off road. Otherwise it is an expensive option.

He alos wrote the articles on "sacred service" in the early seventies. It is mentioned in his book "In Search Of Christian Freedom" - A FANTASTIC book by the way. If you listen to an iPod while driving/working out look online for the audio version. It is on one of the bittorrent sites. If whoever recorded that is on this forum, I thank you.

What was the last great deal you got?

i'm leaving this pretty open, but the last great deal i got was a new-quality steif plush (about $70 dollar value, i'd optimistically guess, when it was new).

for about 2 or 3 bucks.

A local pawn shop sells the unused credit on store gift cards for .60 on the dollar. So you can get a gift card (to Dick's Sporting Goods for instance) and save 40% then if you can find a good sale on top of that you are even further ahead. They verify the amount left on the card when you buy it. Also there is a 800 number on each card that you can call to find the balance.

People get gift cards for Birthdays etc. and would rather have cash (usually because the crack/meth dealer does not accept gift cards) so they take the gift card to the pawn shop and sell it for a fraction of the face value.

How many JW pedofiles do you personally know?

i was just thinking that out of the 200 jws that i actually know, at least 4 of them to my knowledge are pedophiles.

i know for a fact, through personal confidences.

that means, as far as my circle of jovo friends/acquaintances goes, 2% of them are kiddy fiddlers.. without mentioning names or details, how many do you know of for a certainty to be pedos, and what percentage does it work out at, considering all your circle of jovo friends?.

I know of one in my old hall for a fact. He was convicted in a court of law and is on the "Meghans Law" list. I can't remember if he was DF's or just reproved, but as far as I know he currently is in good standing.
